Our payroll processing is a web-based system. Some highlights of our payroll processing system:

Customer Service:

Implementation / Conversion:

No one likes to change payroll vendors; our implementation and conversion process focuses on having a detailed time line and process that shifts the burden of the conversion to our implementation specialists.


Highlights of the Payroll System:


Payroll Processing:

Our system allows tracking of multiple departments / locations etc.

  • Paper checks
  • Direct Deposit with the ability to deposit into multiple accounts
  • Debit Cards; this option can be used in conjunction with a paper check or direct deposit
  • Employee on-line access to their payroll history including pay stubs.

Reporting:

Our payroll systems comes complete with hundreds of pre-formatted reports In addition, our report generation system is designed around a “point, click and create report” structure allowing for client driven customization.

Tax Filings and Reporting:

PenPay will provide for the timely and proper filing of all payroll related tax filings including 941’s, and year end employee W-2’s and W-3 filings

General Ledger Interface:

We work with each client to build a general ledger interface linking payroll information directly to our client’s general ledger.


Retirement

Design

The goal of our process is to ensure that the implemented plan reflects the goal of both the sponsoring entity and the end user, the participant. To that end, we devote a great deal of time to platform delivery, plan design and implementation.

Platform

The plan’s delivery platform represents the first branch of the design process. It also represents the most important decision the plan sponsor must make relative to the ongoing satisfaction of plan participants and the overall success of the plan. PenCal offers several platform options. At a minimum, all of our delivery platforms offer the following:

  • Multi-fund complex choices

A properly selected platform is the result of making an informed decision based on a working understanding of the various technologies, costs and specific functionality of each platform.

Implementation

Our experienced conversion management team works with you and your prior service providers to ensure the proper and efficient functions relative to plan implementation.

Our staff of benefit consultants is committed to the seamless implementation of qualified benefit programs.

  • Perform data collection, forms, etc.
  • Take necessary steps to implement plan with selected vendors
  • Coordinate payroll setup
  • Communicate accounting procedures and process
  • Install plan onto PEN-CAL administration platform
    • Voice Response Setup
    • Web site Setup
  • Communicate instructions to participants regarding VRU/Web processing
  • Conduct introductory meeting with appropriate client team/contacts
  • Prepare and deliver administrative manual to client on CD-Rom.
